So how can you purchase our products?
As Grampa's Woodshop is a custom producer of wood products and not as off the shelf supplier, the first step in the process is to contact me either thru an email or calling me. We can discuss what your needs are, whether they match the products that we have and if not, then we can discuss a custom build. We can discuss delivery dates and methods of delivery as well.
After we finalize the details, then I'll send you a quote outlining what we discussed, the price with taxes, down paytment, the delivery date and the method of delivery. If you want to proceed, then simply return the quote saying you want to proceed and then we can proceed to collecting the down payment.
Down payment methods include the following: (I am not an advocate of credit card or web site suppliers taking large percentages for purchases)
1. Check or certified check.
2. Cash
3. E-transfer
No work will commence on the project until the down payment has been cleared.
When the down payment is received, then I'll send you a purchase order outlining the order details and fact a down payment has been received.
When the project has been completed, I'll contact you and we can proceed to the final steps of delivery and remaining payments owed. Final payments methods are as follows:
1. Certified check.
2. Cash
3. E-transfer
An invoice will be provided upon final payment, as well as the warranty information.
What is the Warranty on our products?
As for the warranty, all projects have a one year warranty for normal use. For example, do not leave canoes, kayaks or paddle boards on support racks during the winter. If a piece breaks then I'll do my best to repair it as fast as possible. Please note that cracks and checking in wood is a normal process. They do not effect the structural performance or integrity of the wood and hence are not a warranty item. Foam used on the support arms are not warranted if it is determined that it was caused by improper loading or unloading of units onto/from the rack.
