The Wall Hanger Single - Rack designed for a single Paddle Sports Unit
This Paddle Sports Rack was designed to attach to the side of a building and support any type of canoe, kayak or paddle board. It has that level of versatility.
It is made from Eastern White cedar which is an excellent wood for external use and has anti-rotting and anti-insect/termite properties.
The support arms are 36 inches long and the arms can be attached to your building at whatever gap distance you feel is appropriate for you paddle sports unit. It is constructed using Mortise and Tenons joints which provides the strength to support your unit. Each arm has been planed so that a closed cell 1/2" foam strip or 3/8" HDPE could be applied to prevent any scratches to you paddle sports equipment.
The price quoted does not include any staining / urethaning or any tie down bungees or associated fastener hardware. Normally, I finish these racks with a marine spar urethane which provides excellent weather protection and allows for the beauty of the cedar to be seen.
