Standard Target Throwing Target
With the introduction of the new and exiting passtime of axe throwing, Grampa's Woodshop has
created a target game that is designed for cottages and backyards.
The base and boards are made of spruce planks and unlike the axe throwing targets found in
the axe throwing parlors, ours is double sided and offers up a variety of options to you.
The base is constructed to hold two separate targets, one on each side. The individual targets
can easily be removed from the base and boards reversed/replaced on the target, and then the
target can be easily reattached to the base. Additionally, four extra boards are provided
above and below the two targets as replacement boards when the originals wear out. All targets
measure 42" lon and 44" wide.
The first target is the tradional axe throwing target with four scoring circles and the
bulls eye. The target circle is 36" in diameter. The second target is in the form of a dart
board.
Optionally, I can create any target board you wish, just let me know. For example, I created a
tic-tac-toe target for a customer that they wanted to use for knive throwing.
The throwing target allows you to choose and use a variety of weapons. There is the traditional
axe, there are hatchets, tomahawks and throwing knives. I am also working on developing throwing
darts spefically for the dart target. There are many retailers who sell these weapons both in a
retail store and online. The weapons you buy depend upon the skill of the thrower.
We have had our target at our cottage for two summers now and is heavily used. So if you want
